Rabbit Influx at Wood Green Animal Shelter

Wood Green Animal Shelters are urging small animal lovers to visit the Cambridgeshire site to see if they are able to rehome any of their numerous animals.

The charity has been inundated with small animals over the past few months and is full to capacity. Wood Green currently has over 31 guinea pigs and rabbits looking for new families and numerous birds and a variety of rodents including hamsters, mice and rats.

Juliette Jones, Head of small animals section at Wood Green Animal Shelters said, “we are desperate to rehome our small animals, we have a large variety available and a lot of people don’t even realise we have small animals looking for new homes. Due to the amount of animals we have in our care at present a lot of small animals are being fostered off site as we just don’t have the facilities for them at the moment.

If you are interested in any of the small animals at Wood Green please visit any day of the week between 10am and 4pm or call 08701 90 40 90 for further information.
