My Rabbit Saved my Life

I discovered Linford via Rabbit Rehome and my friends at the Peggy Henderson Centre in Manchester and adopted him last year.

At 6.40pm this evening I was in my back room working on my computer, Linford was lying on his mat in the same room when he suddenly started to thump the ground, at first I paid no attention but then he thumped again, I turned round to see my window ablaze with orange, I dashed to the window and pulled back the blinds only to see thick orange flames lapping against the window, when I looked down I saw the couch which my neighbour had left out for collection on fire, I rang the emergency services who told me to evacuate the building, I scooped up linford and ran over to the hairdressers who must of thought I was mad bringing a rabbit into a hairdressers, the women sat me down and looked out for the fire brigade.

After putting out the blaze I was allowed to safely bring Linford back in, he seemed phased by the event, but the Chief Fire Officer confirmed that I had a lot to be grateful for and that Linford was a true hero.
